DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer is a modern printing technology that delivers vibrant, full-color designs onto almost any fabric. This process prints your artwork onto a special PET film using a DTF printer, applies an adhesive powder, cures it, and then heat-presses it directly to the garment. The result is a durable, soft-touch print with excellent stretch and wash resistance — perfect for cotton, polyester, blends, and more.

FAQs

What is DTF (Direct to film) ?

DTF is a printing process that transfers full-color images to various materials using a wide format printer and PET transfer film with water-based pigmented ink. It involves white ink for adhesion and curing in a dryer.

How is DTF different from other printing methods like screen printing, DTG, dye sublimation, or HTV?

DTF offers vibrant color transfers, doesn't require pretreatment, doesn't involve weeding, has no color or fabric limitations, and doesn't need high temperatures.

Are there any order minimums?

No, we do not have any minimums. You can order as many as you please. You can also order a sample pack to test our products yourself from

We have sizes from 2" X 2" to 22" X 1000" inch

What kind of press do I need?

You can use the iron you have lying around your house or an industrial level heat press or anything in between.

What file format should my artwork be?

Vector art is always preferred, raster art should be at least 300 dpi. Preferred file types: .AI, .PDF

Accepted files types: .JPG, .PNG
